So my laptop is an HP DV6 2190US, and i was wondering whether i would be able to add an MSATA SSD to it. I recently added a 128 GB Samsung 840 pro to replace my HDD, which is now being used as an external USB drive via a USB 2.0 enclosure, and i want to get rid of that HDD. When i opened up my laptop after doing some research on MSATA SSD's, I noticed that the wireless card looked identical to an MSATA SSD, and the manual for the laptop says that there is only one MSATA slot. I don't even know if it is worth buying another piece of hardware for this computer... It's almost 5 years old and i don't plan to do anything soon. But alas, my curiosity has gotten the better of me and caused my to post this. Thank you to all who respond in advance. BTW, the SSD is plugged into a SATA II port for lack of a SATA III port. :/
