That depends on the chip really. We can't tell you how far to overclock because it depends on how well the chip overclocks.

Hey guys,

 

I was planning on getting i5 4690k, Fractal Design Define R4, and Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO heatsink. I wonder how high I should overclock my PC.

 

Please help! :D

 

Copyposta but it would depend on if you got a good chip, and how good the airflow is inside your case. On a 212e you should be able to hit 4+ GHz on most chips

Depending on the quality of your chip, a stable 4.4GHz is more than reasonable providing you have good cooling.
