So me and a friend built his pc today, when he comes from work we are going to install Windows on it.

Specs:

Intel 4690K Haswell CPU

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5, socket 1150 motherboard

Corsair Vengeance 4x2 GB 1600mhz  (forgot which one exactly)

Dark Rock C1 CPU cooler (Be quiet!)

Crucial  240GB SSD

Seagate 2 TB HDD

Asus 280X GPU (Direct Cu)

Corsair CX750W Modular

We built it and I don't remember his parts by name (didn't include case because irrelevant). He plays Wildstar primarily and also League. (I know LoL doesn't require that much power and it will run it easily)

Also I have a question, do I need to plug in 2 seperate PCI-E cables and then into the 280X? Or will just 1 with 2 PCI-E inputs (2x8 pins) do?

I doubt the card required two 8-pins, but if it's there, fill it. As to your question, yeah. That should be fine.

Oh no, it requires 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin :P But yeah, just wondered if 2 seperate cables would be required or I just use the 2 cables which are attached to 1 cable.

If you have a cable that has both connectors, then you should be just fine.

Still no idea why ye' went for a 280X for LoL, but hey. Ain't gonna argue with overkill.

Eh, he had 1200 euro to spend, why not right? :)

Also if he wants to play different games which require more, he can.
