today i got my new ssd ... 128gb,and i have a problem

i wanna reinstall the windows to my ssd from my HDD but i have those windows 6-7 years, that means lots of errors, drivers no longer in use etc...

But i have alot of stuuf in there that i wanna save, for example, game saves, games them selfs, programs, bookmarks.

(the stuff that i need are alot ...ALOT of gb...)

So i dont think that a format will help me in that point,is there another way? to keep my stuff,like.... copy paste the windows to my ssd or,just move my stuff somewhere and replace them? any ideas???

(keep in mind that thats my fist time doing this)

Copy your saves to an external hard drive or flash drive.

maybe a dual boot os might help you with this .. check it out. copy & past is not going to work as there is lots of things that can go wrong(if you're talking os migration, it doesn't work like that) otherwise if you have the space just painstakingly move your game saves z& other valuable info's to a separate hard drive & wipe the os, that's the only option i see here.

Details separate people.

Listen we don't have much time left, I think we can't do it. I'm going to turn myself in to the police.

But seriously you should do as @AnnoyedShelf said.

Copy your saves to an external hard drive or flash drive.

as i can see, this might be the only option :/

question!

so...i got the windows cd... i can do a fresh install in my ssd,then...can i just...delete the windows from the hdd? to stay like the storage unit?

Yes, you can. But I would keep windows installed on the HDD and in case your SSD bellies up you still have a ready to go Windows install (yeay!) Just set the boot order in BIOS.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.
