Im wondering whats the best option, Secure erasing the HDD (Zero Wiping numerous times), Zero-Wiping once, or simply destroying the HDD

My Votes total destruction.  Zero Wipe once. Smash with hammer. Put giant magnet over it. Throw it in a fire. If you wanna sell it however; Delete everything then do 2 Zero wipes, then put a giant rediculous file on it (like a notepad of all 1s) then delete and  reZero it.... anything they find through that even if they pull a CSI they won't get nothing but a notepad of 1s....

yes, have notepad ascii art like a  TB drive just full of ascii art and loads of it like everything from Dicks to Trollfaces to a portrait of GabeN to Osama BinLaden and for good measure Ascii art Nuke right above ascii art white house xD
