Budget gaming?

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/YQZ923                                                                    Is it good enough to run games at 1080p high (not max) settings when overclocked? Are there any 'bottlenecks'? and most importantly: Is there any way to lower the price without decreasing performance?

Thanks in advance,

Dawid

P.S- If I made any awful mistakes THIS IS MY FIRST BUILD!

dont takee the intel, if you want to go cheap get an A88 board with an AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8Ghz

Go for 4x2 sticks instead of one 8GB stick you get better performance in dual channel

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

G3258 would wreck a 760k.

Marginally, but yes

Get an Athlon X4 760k instead.  I'd go with 2 4GB DIMMs so that there's no chance of bottlenecking (friend made that mistake). I'd also go with a 270X. That 280X is a little overkill for what you want.

Get 2x4GB instead of 1x8, and also get an SSD, makes a dramatic difference and they are not that expensive anymore, 120GB goes for 90 bucks or something and it's plenty to store the OS and most used applications.

You can get low end SSDs for as cheap as $60

You can go for Zalman Z3 Plus case instead of that Corsair. Saving almost 30. If you get on to Zalmans' on website you can also see that the case have enough room for a dual radiator cooling options if you want to change it some day.

Plus I see a EVGA 80+ Bronze that would save another 6.5 .

There is also another RAM option, Kingston 1600Mhz, which could save  3.6.

If you go for all the options you can save 38.27 Pounds.

Sorry but I can't say anything about Bottlenekcs. I mean I don't know what games you like to play. Or What games you play spending most of your time, I mean I can't play a story based game after I finish everyside quest (Which usually doesn't take more then a week...). So yeah.

Edit: I didn't posted the links, But I can if you want.

Edit 2: Upsss.. I made a huge calculation error there :D changed the number now.

people who don't game at all benefit most from ssds and therefore should definitely upgrade to one. Although, I do agree, it should be after a CPU and gpu.
