Just wanted to check and see if any of you know if there are any good reliable notification programs.

Something that gives me a pop up message on the screen.

 

The simplest way of describing it would be to say that im looking for something like the calendar app for phones.
I want something like this for my pc because my phone is mostly on vibrate/completely silent. And that makes it easy to miss the notifications.

Notifications for what? E-mails? This forum?

Something that lets me make small reminders myself. So it pops up later and reminds me of what i might've forgotten. Like the calendar app on a phone

There may be a chrome extension for something like that.

Microsoft Outlook does that.

I was thinking more along the lines of something lighter. Maybe even a widget or rainmeter addition
