H60 Broke?

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

@MatthewJ

allow the PC to cool. reboot into BIOS and check CPU_FAN speed. should be

4200rpm +/- 100rpm. if you have RPM signal, the pump impeller genaded.

no RPM, the pump died. either way you need to get with your retailer on that

purchase. depending on time purchased RMA through retailer or Corsair.

So I have a H60 and about 3 hours ago everythign was fine. I moved the PC from the big screen back to my room and when I loaded up windows restarted at the windows boot-up screen. When i went to the bios my i5 4670K was running 91*C.

1 Pipe on the H60 was ROASTING hot and the other was like room temp. The H60 made the noise it makes on start-up but after that it was like it was doing nothing.

Recommendations?

Try re-mounting it? Could also be that the pump broke. Check for that.

Think it would be best to take back and get another one?

It worked 3 hours ago or so before I turned off the PC

The fan speed s about 4.2 +/- 1.0 so yeah. I think ima take it back to the shop and say them them. If that one s done I think it may be the board.
