I got the UniFi AP Pro because of the gigabit port.   It is about double the price of what your looking at though.  The UAP LR you get 100 Ethernet.  The wireless throughput between devices will be up to 300Mbps with the LR... but it will only reach about 85Mbps going through the ethernet.  So a speedtest over the UAP LR you'd not get over 85Mbps or so.

If you are not subscribing for more than 85 Mbps from your ISP I'd totally go for the AP LR.  I wouldn't consider the regular non LR

The problem I have with the Ubiquiti APs is the price, it's a lot of money to spend on an N300 AP. If you want my suggestion, I got a D-Link DAP-1665 AC1200 AP the other day. It does the job and you can get it for ~$130AU. The range in the 2.4Ghz band is better than the range of the built in wireless of the router it replaced. It covers the house is the main point, that's good enough. Ontop of that I should be able to get a good 200Mbps or so on the 5Ghz band if/when I have a compatible client. Something which you won't be able to do on an N300 AP. The two things it doesn't have that the Ubiquiti APs do, other than price, are the "smart hand-off" feature which is only valuable with multiple APs and Power over Ethernet support.

But if you must have one of those Ubiquiti APs then I'd go for the longer range one. N300 you'll never get much more than 70Mbps down on either of them. What you will get with the longer range one, I assume, is better coverage. At the end of the day it's poor coverage that is the biggest frustration you'll have with wireless. Sub 100Mbps speed at close range people can live with, slowdowns when one of the radios is being hammered less so but sub 10Mbps speeds and dropouts at distance people have zero patience for.

Fools think they know everything, experts know they know nothing

yeh i know its alot for n300 but n300 is all i need the plan is to get 2 or 3 and the PoE means i can mount them on the ceilings no problem :)

good thing i live in the land known as Australia where it is near impossible to get more than 40 Mbps so im sure that 100E is not going to be a problem the only sanario that i can think of is when a few of my family members jump on plex at the same time. im not sure how much bandwidth that will use

Cool.  Plex media server will be fine streaming to multiple clients on that setup.  It only needs like a max of 3 - 6 Mbps per stream I think.  *And I think you can tell the Plex server/clients to limit their max bandwidth.  But it will handle it fine with plenty of overhead.
