Help with a good setup for gaming/streaming.

I currently have an overlord 27 inch monitor 2560x1440. It is a good budget monitor but I am looking for another 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor for gaming. I will use my current monitor for streaming stuff, monitoring, and just looking cool. I was waiting for the new Asus 27 inch monitor with G sync but is it worth it? Or could I get a really nice 27 inch monitor or more right now for less than or the same price as the Swift? What do you think, and I am in no rush for a monitor, I just want it lol.

I'd get the Dell u2713hm or Asus PB278Q; both being 1440p IPS panels. Or if big-budget the LG 34um95. If the form factor appeals to you then competition is arriving shortly to drive down prices.

don't buy a new monitor just for the 3ms less response time and the ips panel.... it is better to save money and buy a real upgrade from the monitor you already have....

Thats what I was thinking, G sync should be a worthy upgrade i think. I hope it will be worth having but I am not sure yet. It has been kinda hyped for awhile now its like nothing ever happened.
