Mid Range Gaming PC

vet folks

It's been almost a week since i started dreaming new pc

Waited for almost a year to save the money to buy the parts

2-3 months from now i'll be holding the pieces of my own Gaming rig.

This is what i have now, i went to a lot of forums to get opinion never really got a straight answer.

If you are going to overclock, that cpu is awesome. If not then you can buy for example 4670 (Non K model). You can save a few bucks by downgrading that mobo to z97-a. That gpu is starting to be a little old but it is still powerful enough for ME atleast :) I would go for GTX 760 if i was you.

To add on:

If you're intention is to oc then get a 4690k and z97 board. If you have no intention to oc then get a 4570/4670 and either a z87 or h87 board depending on If you intent to sli or not (z87 if you want sli). I'd also go for an amd 280/x over a gtc760.

I personally would go with an FX-8350 or 8320 and spend the extra money on a better GPU. Much better! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MCx2WZ

this two are closely in good price, cant decide which one

is this a battle of reference?

asus or asrock, i never used asrock before so idk how capable they are.

as for the tower, i'll go for the bitfenix, looks way better

for memory, well i decided to go 4gb since im in a tight budge and upgrade it later.

1tb western digital is really enough for me.

for gaming keyboard i also decided to go for this one CM Storm Devastator cheap and also comes with extra mouse :)

Question: Baracuda or Western DIgital?

Im not an OC guy.

The R9 280 he referenced has 3GB of VRAM. You only need 2GB for 1080p gaming and in my experience Nvidia has better drivers and is all around more reliable and the GTX 760 has more headroom to overclock if you decide to in the future, but that's just my opinion. The FX-8350 is barely more expensive than the 8320 and will offer slightly better performance. And you could even save a few bucks on the PSU like he said all you need is 500w so I would get the PSU he said and the rest of the build that I gave you. Ultimately it's up to you but that's just my opinion.

Nope, GTX 760 is overpriced. Also an R9 280 have a better price also performance then the 760.

update to the build

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor  ($144.98 @ OutletPC)

the R9 280 comes out of the box clocked much faster than the GTX760

and for the 280 you can play 1080P Ultra no trouble

the 8320 can be OC to 8350 speeds by tweaking the multiplier and you got heat under control with the CoolerMaster air cooler

the Asus mobo is a solid board for the FX 8 cores CPU

the 600 watts Corsair has a 20 buck main in rebate so that's way I pick it

it will give you enough juice to do OC further without worry about power shortage
