I have an Asus M5A97 R2.0 mobo with the newest BIOS, and a Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD. What happens is I'll be surfing the internet or something and my computer will freeze, then it will say "Your PC has encountered an error and needs to shut down" and it goes to the BIOS. I will post a picture later (I'm on mobile). I tried going into the BIOS and fixing the CSM settings but I couldn't figure it out. I can temporarily fix the problem by turning it off, unplugging and re-plugging the SATA data cable from the HDD, and then turning it back on. I would have to do this about once every couple weeks, but recently it's been getting more and more frequent. Please help!! It's gotten so bad that I turned on my machine just now to post this and it gave me that same message before I could even open Chrome, which is the reason I'm on mobile. Any help is appreciated. (I'd like to get this solved soon so I can get back to playing Skyrim.)
