They are both very good coolers. Personally, I would go with the NH-D14, because I like the colour scheme.

I am considering a Be quiet Dark rock 3 or an Noctua NH- D14 for an 8350.

They are bother amazingly quiet, they both perform amazingly and both cost about the same.

If you prefer black get the dark rock, if you want to join the noctua club, get the d14.

Something to consider is the noctua's 6 year warranty.

I've always liked the Noctua colour scheme, I just don't bring it up at parties. I would take the Noctua colour scheme over the Dark rock scheme any day, it has more pizzazz.

go with the one you like the look of the most, they perform almost the same anyway. Personally I'd go with noctua.
