Yellow burn marks on screen

So last night I had someone buy my monitor, bring a PB278Q, when I gave it to him it was in perfect condition, a couple hours later he messages me saying on black screens there a 2 visible yellow burn marks about the size of a 10cent coin, he also said his girl friend may have put pressure on the screen when carrying it, would this have caused it? Also is there anyway to fix it?

I know but my pain in the ass conscience is telling me to atleast find out.

Chances are he tried to OC the refresh rate or something like that, so breaking it. not your problem. I assume you sold it "as is"?

I know for a fact the marks weren't there that night when I had it set up.
