noob need help

Go to solution Solved by AlwaysFSX,

it use to be 100KB/s it's very unstable one minute 100 - one minute 40

Sounds like an ISP problem, or a router problem. ISP, can't really be fixed. Router, sometimes by resetting the settings or just outright buying a new router. Given the connection speed there shouldn't be any problems with the router.

as you can see by the title i am a noob on networking things...but i want to learn how to optimize/maximize internet service. the best router settings the best laptop settings for downloading all that sort of stuff. like DNS all that complicate ( for me ) stuff i want to learn it. because i only get 100KB/s on my country and even my country don't 4G ready ( 3G is still unavalaible on somepart of my country and on my island there's 3G available but it's very UNstable )

PS : i don't want using any third-party software +  please make it step by step because i am a noob + if can give me an easy understand link/video please + please just give me the best for downloading ( priority no-1....other can also helpful but best downloading settings is what i mostly want )

recent downloading on steam speed

hahaha... sorry about that wrong atacchement

The thing about internet is that unless your adapter is screwed, you really can't do much to "optimize" it except for packets. But when you're hitting your max download (if this is it) then there's nothing you can do except use a different service.

I do notice it's at ~40Kb/s and you said you pay for 100. Are you doing anything in the background that uses bandwidth?
