In the vid, like so many others, you pull up all these fancy schmancy benchmark tools.  Why can't you guys tell me how fast my maps will load or how fast my game will launch or how much better I can compile or sound mix or or launch photoshop............................. and then tell me if it really makes a difference which SSD I buy.

I have seen some SSD's where game levels will launch quicker than others. A significant amount even............... would be nice to see real world apps we are familiar with. the word "ATTO" means nothing............. the words BF4 or photoshop mean so much more........... more comprehendable to the average everyday user. .............. what say?............. ;)

Just compare the benchmark numbers to see how fast one is compared to another... Too many variables in loading times and such.

um, no............ doesn't tell me what I want to know. I can look at ssd benchmark utility numbers all day long. I can't relate that into the REAL world. What works are names of apps that I and others are familiar with............... even asking this question I can see similar results when I asked ( on another site a while back ).......... when they would do graphics card benchmarks and they used to skip over last gen cards or wouldn't run last gen games on the new cards........... the new cards weren't any better than last gen but because of payolla we never get to see a real comparison. is it payolla or laziness?.............. and then I would still like ( the reviewer to include ) to see if it really matters what SSD I buy...... not too much to ask for is it? or is this where payolla comes into play? I can understand the extra work.......... but I'm not the guy with the "free" hardware coming in.

You more than likely won't notice much difference between a low end and high end ssd in terms if speed.

So, get the cheapest-reliable-ssd you can.---crucial mx100
