So who here thinks that my Bose QC15's and a Blue Snowball is good enough for gaming? If you do not think so, then what do you recommend? Try to stay away from cheap stuff like Razer though...I just have a bad past with "gaming" headsets. Everytime a company makes a headset, they slap the word "gaming" in front of it and that gives them the excuse to up the price. I've tried Turtle beach, Tritton and even Sony. All were some of the more expensive headsets but at a very horrible sound quality, mic quality, and build quality. So does anyone have any suggestions for some headphones or headsets that are absolutely worth the money and will last a long time?

Just stick with what you have! Those are great audio products

Haha yeah well I have to agree. Like I said in the post, I have a really bad past with at least three of them...

What do you guys think of Bowers and Wilkins for gaming?

Dedicated headphones and mic are the way to go

 

There are better headphones and microphone out there, but if you find your audio fine there is no reason to upgrade

Well when I play with the Bose QC15's I just feel like they don't have that true "feel" to them in gaming. Seems like certain things are missing. Don't get me wrong though, they are amazing for music, videos, and sound isolation. They are okayish for gaming but I just don't feel it. I'll probably hang on to them forever, but somewhere down the line I will need something new. So I'm just trying to get ideas.

I think they lack OOMPH, they are not the bassiest headphones

 

Really depends on your budget, Open headphones would give the biggest sound stage and make you feel very immersed, closed headphones give you the best booms
