Minecraft Seeds

So occasionally I'll have a go at some minecraft building (usually single player) in creative mode. And despite going on the minecraft forums, reddit, youtube, etc... I cannot find a decent seed, with some giant mountains. It seems like when I try to use seeds, even ones listed as the most recent MC build, I get a completely different map from those people.

 

I'm looking for some snowy mountains because I like snow and I want to build a giant dwarven style castle.

 

I'm using the most recent up to date MC version (not a snapshot or anything)

 

So, anyone got any good seeds?

 

P.S. Is there an LTT official MC server? cuz that would be badass.

Generate yoyr world on "extended" or something like that. You will have huge mountains. 

And no, there isn't an official LTT server.

These world creation settings should give you some big mountains.

Go on create new world > More world options > World type and set it to 'AMPLIFIED.

You can find some on minecraftforums (or at least I think it was called that)

Yeah amplified does not work out well on my pc lol.

 

Basically it just crashes after a bit, and before it does is slow choppy its unplayable
