Raid storage question

I have no idea what these, "Raid configurations" are.

I watch and learn a lot from Linus' videos, but whenever he mentions anything about raid configurations for storage, I just can't understand it. I've done my own research through Google and read articles on several websites, but they always make it so complicated. Either that, or I just can't understand. Will someone please explain to me the raid configurations in a very simple manner or link me to an article that gives me an in depth but very simple explanation? Thank you, I would really appreciate it!

I really need some good help with my Raid 1, 2TB SSHD Mass storage.

PLEASE.

well the problem is that for some reason my raid 1 array has went into being write protected, while i can still play my games at the moment (tested with Team Fortress 2), i cannot access any of my music or download anything onto this array.

Is there anyway i can fix this?

Please someone help.
