My guess is the C3, im not 100% sure as i have the logitech z623 which i compared to the sp2500 and a collective of 20 people thought my z623 was better then the sp2500 so corsair is kicked out and i believe the creative set has bad satellites so my best bet is one of the edifier speakers.

To be honest if price isnt an issue then getting a audioengine set would be better and then getting the sub they sell to pair that up would destroy all the of speakers above.

My dad said he's willing to spend a max of 180 euros, but he made an exception with the corsair speakers because them seem good

My brother owns them, he says mine are better. The bass box is bigger with the corsair but for some reason you just dont feel the bass as much im not sure as to why and the satellites seem about the same on both sides, logitech has more watts in the sub but less on the satellites. They are more for the appearance then actual audio, it was corsairs first strike in the audio market compared to logitech which has been there a lot longer.

Well, would you recommend the C3?

Seems fair, but Linus reviewed them and was surprised with them, or did he just say that because corsair is paying him?

Corsair was not paying them but that was a long time ago and he really was actually pretty bad with audio back then. All his videos were recommending the wrong stuff. He's gotten better recently but he is still not the best person to go to for audio. I agree with Emo. Stay away from Logitech and Corsair. Edifier is good. Swan is also good if you can find them and there are a ton of passive bookshelf speakers that are good. There are more good ones than bad.

I would say for a desktop speaker set for a PC the corsair is actually quite good I own a set. You can hear at times a definite separation between the sub and satellites.

I know it's way below your range but: http://www.amazon.com/Altec-Lansing-VS2621-Channel-Speaker/dp/B0025VKUQQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405016127&sr=8-1&keywords=altec+lansing+vs2621 I have them personally and love them subwoofer is awesome, speakers sound great. IMO. (Although my opinion may be bias since I have a soundcard its in my sig)

EDIT:

Also I don't personally see the need in buying $250 USD speakers unless you're doing music creation and need studio monitors for gaming all you need is something that can do the job and do it well and in style, and maybe has some extra bonuses. I'm sorry but personally I don't see the need in $250 USD speakers as I stated earlier see if you can work something out with your Dad that you can use the rest of the money to get something else. Like maybe get the speakers I reccomended above and a nice sound card to go with it like I did.

Well I'm just trying to get the best possible speakers for 0-220 EU, I don't need anything else tbh

But your statements are contradictory. You said all you need is something that can do the job and do it well and in style. Well...the speakers you linked will do the job but they do not do the job well or in style. Europe prices are higher so around $250 USD is where you start to see your returns diminish but around $200 to $250 is definitely worthwhile if you want good sound.

Anything over Corsair or Logitech.

I've been searching around on google a bit more, they said that The sp2500's sound good with a decent soundcard (Which I will not buy), but the Edifier S730's are much better but also more expensive, any idea if the Edifier S530d's are any good?

The s730 is friggin awesome, that is a very good buy but its expensive, i think the s530 is pretty good, its an ok amount of watts at 145 and a massive 8 inch sub, i think it would do you well

Yeah I can't decide whether to go with the C3's or S530d's. also, is any sound card better than on-board audio?

s530d uses more watts so more power and so better. Soundcards or dacs(dacs are better) are pretty much placebo effects with speakers, you will not notice the difference with it unless you have great headphones. As you have a modern motherboard you have a decent soundcard anyways.
