CPU - 4690K

Cooler - Corsair H90 - 140mm

MOBO - Asus Z97I-PLUS

Kingston Hyper X Fury 16GB

Storage - Samsung/WD

Samsung - EVO 250GB

WD Black 2TB

GPU - eVGA GTX760 BlowerFan

CASE Silverstone FT03B

PSU - Silverstone ST45SF-G 450W

Optical Drive - Silverstone

So I'm planning the above build and have a few questions:
1. Would all the parts be compatible? Particularly the Cooler rad and Graphics card?

2. PSU enough power with OC and GPU? Need to double check

3. Would Ram speed or CPU speed be more important in running Virtual Machines? As such should I consider finding RAM or CPU stability first

4. Already over my own budget somewhat, but how important/difference is there for a 4690K and 4790K if my aim was mostly VM (Virtual Machines) and perhaps to game?

5. Would I need extra cables or are all needed cables provided with the parts.
6. What does "Silverstone SOD02B DVD/CD Writer will need a Slimline SATA to SATA power adapter." mean? It was the bottomn of PC part picker.

7. And lastly, since I live in Australia (Brisbane), I'm planning to order all the parts at once from PC Case Gear. Any idea of their quality of service? I don't want to find out that there's a broken part and have to deal with bad customer service.

A lot of questions, but thanks for any help :) cheers

1. Don't think you can fit a 140mm rad in the case. A 120mm should fit just fine though.

2. The psu is plenty.

3. High speeds can help but I don't see why you would need more in this case.

4. Unless you're doing heavy VM work, the 4690k is plenty.

5. Like it says at the bottom of the pcpartpicker list, you would need a slimline sata to sata adapter. http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Slimline-Adapter-Power-SLSATAADAP/dp/B002O1W6ZK

Are you dead set on the FT03? There are other more flexible cases that aren't as limiting.

1. Yes but I don't see a need for a watercooler, get a low profile cooler like the CM GeminII M4 or the Noctua NH-L9i, you could upgrade to a 280x/770.

2. Yeah but go for a 500/550W to be safe/have more headroom

3. For VMs the more RAM and cores the better.

4. 4790 has more threads so you can have more VMs running

5. Should be fine

6 You need a slimline SATA to SATA power adapter, get one off Amazon if it isn't included.

Little confused about the rad. The air penetrator in the case is a 140mm fan, Wouldn't the rad need to be of the same dimensions?

The rad isn't just a 140mm fan but protrudes out the sides with tubes attached.
