Thief freezing whole PC

As soon as I load up Thief, it will freeze at a random point, usually at startup, sometimes on the menu screen and sometimes on the loading screen, But this COMPLETELY freezes my PC which means I have to force restart

 

What could be causing it?

HDD issue,CPU overheating,CPU LLC set too low,CPU Vcore is not enough,GPU overclock is too much.

could be any of the above
