Really the only notable games that can be played on Linux are:

 

-Team Fortress 2

-CS: Source

-Portal series

-Half-Life series

-Garry's Mod

-Rust

-Euro Truck Simulator 2

-Kerbal Space Program

 

 

You can try using Wine, but I wouldn't use it to play Windows games.

The Witcher 2, Metro Last Light I think work on Linux - they work on SteamOS anyway.
