I wanted to build a 1400 or so gaming PC and had this specced out. Any suggestions or tips?

Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($99.99 @ Newegg) 




Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DirectCU II Video Card  ($460.00 @ Newegg) 

Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($109.99 @ Amazon) 


Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32/64-bit)  ($104.99 @ NCIX US) 

Total: $1453.08

Edit: I decided to up my budget a little and get an ssd

Don't tell me you are going to only play Minecraft on this.

Anyway nice build, get a SSD and a 650w PSU.

Are you gone overclock? No overclock go with if you want an AIO Corsair H60

Save Some money on the PSU:use a 550W it's enough for you

With the money you saved go with the 4790K and 16 gb ram

I was actually going to overclock therefore I chose the unlocked devil's Canyon CPU

I also took the 750 watt in case I wanted to get a second 780

Yeah I completely understand your build and I think that Kittke is lost even suggesting 16 gB ram, and a 4790k if you're even mostly going to game on it. It's a good build and going with a psu with a lower wattage such as 550 w would just leave you without upgradeability so stick to your original stuff. You're going to max out all current games thumbs up from me :)
