I know there's a bunch of hate going towards anti-virus's from the PC building community (and rightfully so), but one I have experince with (for business use) is AVG. There is another one that was dead simple and straight to the point (PCCleaner or something; it had no bloat and thats why I liked it), but I forgot. If I remember I'll be sure to tell you.

I've used both Avast and AVG. I have had Avast on my home PC for 3+ years and never had a virus go undetected. We've used AVG free at work for a while and it's ok. Doesn't catch everything but catches stuff from time to time.

Avast sees things AVG doesn't for me at work since I use it instead of AVG. Specifically, viruses in emails I get through Thunderbird.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.
