i want to buy a new set of speakers but i'm block with uncertainty, that uncertainty is "Static noise"

this is how i found the problem, i have two pair of speakers, the one i am using right now only have one speaker that works its partner is dead, while the second pair, which my sister won in a contest, gives off static noise even when the computer is idling.

i tested my sister's speakers on my desktop, back and front audio ports, and it gives off static noise while the one im using does not.

can anyone explain this phenomenon?

i even tested it with my headphones which works perfectly on both ports.

What speakers are they.

try using the speakers on anouther device. Cd play if you have one.

well i use a Logitech speaker which i don't know what model number since it faded away and my sister's speaker is not in google, lol but it's a USB powered speaker.

i tried a different pair of speakers just now and it's a REALLY REAAAAAALLY old Genius speaker with an AMP, still gives off the same static noise like my sister's.
