Choosing between two gaming rigs

Go to solution Solved by Cacao,

The first one is much better, the PSU it pretty overkill though, go for an 850w max.

They're both for video editing and gaming. I already have a case and peripherals for both. Which do you think is a better for the purpose? One is cheaper, but the other seems more powerful.

Is there a budget you are trying to fit into?

What software are you using for video editing? Is this a hobby or are you doing it professionally?

I was going for $1500 with $1600 being the absolute limit. The software I will be using will probably be Sony Vegas, or an Adobe program. I will be doing this as a hobby but it may take up more and more time as requirements do.

You need to fix the second link in the OP. It has some extraneous characters at the end.

As @Cacao suggested the first build is the better one for the use described. But the psu is beyond overkill.

I would also suggest doubling the memory to 16GB to help with editing and increasing the size of ssd. (The memory part selected in the op is not a good fit with the Hyper 212 EVO.)
