I have never painted components before, out of interest how difficult is it?

It depends on what you are trying to paint.

I can't really comment on how difficult/easy it might be to paint, but keep in mind that painting things will always adversely affect your temps since paint is an insulator, and a pretty good one at that, depending on the type/thickness of it. So just keep that in mind when you're choosing what to paint.

 

Oh, and don't paint your cpu  ;)

it can be risky and it will up your temps alot so be sure you want to do it

Have you allready painted the case? If not, well thats the only thing i recommend painting by yourself. You could paint ssd, hard drive and ram. I would leave this to pros,...

There goes the warranty, and also if you paint wrong parts of components, you can destroy them.
