You may want to review your power options, if your using windows 7 or Ubuntu it's relatively easy. For 7 go to control panel and in the top right search for power and it will be the icon or whatever with the battery and power plug. Try changing things that affect things at 10 minutes like sleep settings or the screen turning off, it may be caused by your pc automatically entering a sleep cycle after 10 minutes

Also, sorry if my instructions are a little off, I'm going by memory

I am good at computer

Could you provide your system specs and OS..?..

Will it go quite when you watch you tube..?..a DVD video ?..with music player.?..when do you see the "codex is missing"?

Do you use speakers or headphones?

Do you have a 1/8 plug or do you use a USB to connect them..?

I hope we can help.. :)

Your best effort is the easiest thing to give to someone else..

first off remove all the codec packs you have. you dont need them if your using windows 7 or later.

you can add to them with something like win 7 codecs but stay well clear of Klite and only ever install 1 pack as this will cause compatibility issues.

go into your audio in ctrl panel and find the communications tab set it to do nothing.
