Hey guys, I've decided to ask you guys how to solve this problem. Every time I turn on my computer, I am greeted with this screen ( http://imgur.com/TjmeFzd ) asking me to choose what operating system I want to boot to. I only have 1 OS installed ( I think ) and when i go into the Change defaults or choose other options, it only lets me change the wait time. How do I make it so this screen doesn't show at all? Thanks guys, bai! PS: I have googled it multiple times

wow, thats a lot of bees!

In Windows, you can usually select the OS your in to boot by default by, I believe, typing MS Config into search, selecting it and then somewhere amongst each tab (when it loads up), possibly on the first one, there should be that option. But I'm not entirely sure.

It sounds like you may have more than one partition on your HDD/SSD and perhaps the other partition has the remains of an old operating system.

'Right click' on the 'start button' in Windows 8 and click on 'Disk Management'. Have a look at what is listed and you can choose to delete any partitions that you don't use.

Afterwards, you can extend the partition that you're currently using with the space you just saved.

do you think checking the No GUI boot square would fix it? or will it break something that my dad will yell at me for? :3  http://imgur.com/UkYfC7I
