Can you link the pictures of both the cards here?

If possible, link the websites you obtained the data from as well, if they are reference cards then pricing may differ from different producers based on warranty and etc.

Lastly, where do you live? $600 for a 660Ti sounds like a major sham.

I'm from New Zealand so.....yeah sucks to be me

Yeah, wow. Also, you should wait for the GTX 7xx series, as they are supposedly coming out at the end of this month, so you might be able to get a better deal on a 660ti, or maybe a 7xx card would suit your needs better.

probably just overpriced cards or they are factory over clocked.

factory over clocks are a bit of a waist of money imo

And MSI's twin frozr cooler it the best price to performance if you ask me, and the direct cu cards are just a waist of money.

Probably the 20$ difference is justified by being an OC / non-OC model from the factory, as you say they look identical to you.

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace. Current daily OC is 4.8 @1.41 v
