For your needs, maybe Yeti ... better mic overall, don't know ...

I'm getting a AT2020 to record vocals on music, for the thing you are planning to do, condensers are a lil bit too sensitive and i won't go there, i don't really know blue switches and the noise they make, but condenser mics do capture a lot of things and that would be a lot to handle.

Pic a good dynamic mic, THAT would be MY advice, not like the way to go, just my 5cents :D

i understand that a dynamic mic would be better but after looking around i havent been able to find one with as good quality as a condenser and mx blues have a very loud distinctive click when the key is actuated and require more pressure that most other keys but they are not as heavy as greens but i love it and find that typing on anything else is just not as good so getting a different keyboard is out of question i know that i will only use the cardioid setting on the yeti so more settings isnt really a selling point i want which ever mic picks up less background noise or another mic all together

Then try to get a super cardioid mic so it only picks up front and closes to the sides and back.

A good dynamic one would be the Telefunken M80, but not as cheap as the 2 options you listed here.

Get the Yeti if it's up to those 2

Altho i think the mic is not pretty, it works nice :D

I had the same question, in the end i bought the at2020 USB and im really happy with it!

If you want to know how it would sound in gameplay commentary check my yt channel out ( will be on the bottom of this post)

And from the things i heard, the at2020 does a better job at isolating sound, and picking up what is in front of you. However mechanical keyboards are loud so whatever you get you will hear that, except if you have a stand and put the mic close to your mouth in which case it wont really be loud.

EDIT: The At2020 looks soooooooo sexy
