Hey guys,

After finishing my exams I connected my PS3 (CECHG04 model) with an old Samsung TV (LE26R32B [R] model with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution) using a HDMI cable. The problem is my PS3 doesn't want to start up anymore. My TV doesn't allow my to select the HDMI option, probably because the PS3 isn't detected, while it is working just fine when connected to my PC.

When trying to turn it on, all I see is a short green light before a flickering red light.

Is it a problem with my hard drive?

TIA  :)

To be honest I don't remember anymore if it was running hot, it's been ages since I last used it ... It's quite noisy when I try to turn it on now though.

I was asking about the hard drive because I found this: Flashing red light means one of two things : your hard drive is not seated properly, or your graphics processor is not seated properly
