Which to choose?

AMD Build because the Video card is better for gaming, The CPU is Decent, you can upgrade it to a unlocked Intel CPU later on

Hey forum! I'll bulid a PC in about 1-2 months and i wanted to ask you which of these builds are better. The highest resolution i'll be playing will be 1920x1080. But i'm also looking for the most upgradable  platform. This system will be used for light video editing and gaming.

 

Build 1:

 

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670

 

MOBO:Asus B85M-G

 

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB

 

GPU: MSI GTX 760 2GB

 

Case: Cooler Master Force 500

 

PSU: XFX ProSeries 450W Bronze 

 

HDD: WD Blue 1TB

 

 

Build 2:

 

CPU: AMD FX-8320

 

MOBO: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

 

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB

 

GPU: XFX DD R9 280X

 

Case: Force 500

 

PSU: XFX ProSeries 650W

 

HDD: WD Blue 1TB

Build 1 but get a 500W PSU as your gonna cut it closer then you should with a 450W

Build #2 will pull ahead but I (personally) would go with #1.

Don't plan builds 2 months in advance. Plan them the week you intend on purchasing. Alot of things can change in 2 months.

is it really necesairy to quote that whole thing? you can remove all the text and leave '-snip-'

 

build 2 gets my vote
