Hi guys, obviously I’m new here, but I've been reading a lot or the past few weeks!

 

I’m planning to buy a new build; my current PC is 6 years old and struggles to keep up.  :D

 

Before I list all the components I want, here is what I’m interested in: Performance and Silence. I’m not interested in looks; no one will ever see the inside of the PC. This rig will mainly be used to play games. I’m not planning on changing it or at least 6 years, so it has to be durable.

The new rig will support a dual 4K display  B) , so I’m planning on overclocking my GPUs. Obviously I’ll be overclocking the CPU, so I’ll be water cooling everything (for the first time). The OC won’t be extreme though.

 

So here is the build itself:

  • Case: Corsair 900D
  • Fans or the case: 3*NF-S12 PWM
  • Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Formula
  • CPU: Intel 4790K
  • 2*GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Dual Classified (SLI)
  • RAM: G.Skill Trident 2 * 8 GB / CAS 7 / 1600MHz
  • System storage: Asus ROG Raidr Express 240 GB
  • Additional storage: Samsung 840 EVO 1Tb
  • 2*Screen Display: Asus PB287Q (Dual 4K display)
  • PSU: Corsair AX1200i (1200W)

 

And this is the water cooling equipment I’m planning to buy:

  • Waterblocks:
    • CPU: EK Supremacy Elite - Intel 115x
    • 2*GPU: EK-FC780 GTX Ti - Acetal+Nickel
    • 2*GPU backplate: EK-FC780 GTX Ti Backplate – Black
    • Motherboard: Built-in Asus Maximus VII Formula block
  • Pump: EK DDC 3.2 PWM X-TOP CSQ 
  • Radiators and fans:
    • Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 240 + 2*NF-F12 PWM (PULL)
    • Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 120 + 1*NF-F12 PWM (PULL)
    • Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 480 + 4*NF-F12 PWM (PULL)
    • Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 480 + 4*NF-F12 PWM (PULL)
  • Reservoir: EK Waterblocks - Reservoir - 250 x 60 mm - EK-RES X3 250
  • Tubing: Primochill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD / Crystal Clear 
  • 20* Compression Fitting: Alphacool Shiny Copper 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD
  • (4 rads + res + pump + CPU + 2gpu + mobo)*2
  • Coolant: Distilled water + silver kill coil
  • In Loop temperature sensor:  Phobya

The pump and all the rad/case fans are PWM and will all be controlled by the motherboard. What would be the best setup or this pump on CPU header?

 

Obviously I don’t care about LED / fancy fans / dyes and so on.  ^_^

 

What I do care about is:

  • Is this water cooling build consistent?
  • Is 1 DDC pump enough?
  • Did I miss something important?
  • What do you guys think about the overall build?
  • Do I need to add some kind o a draining closed tub somewhere for future maintenance ?

@Bijan a single 1200w power supply is unnecessary, I'd get a hold of a lower wattage around 750-850 with a decent 80+ silver and up certification. Needless to say you don't need that much radiator space, keep 1 480mm + 120/140mm. To be honest you don't need the 900D at all.

According to the pic your running all your components together with no radiator "pit stops" in between. Hot water is bad at drawing away heat and after passing thru 2 gpu blocks it's gonna be hot. I'd loop in a rad before it hits the CPU.

That's a lot of radiator. Your water will only reach room temperature at its coolest, seems overkill especially when linked like that. By the time it passes thru 2 rads any additional cooling gained will be minimal.

1 good pump is fine.
