OK, i came her a week or so ago with little knowledge and have learnt more than expected (or wanted). this community is overwhelmingly helpful and friendly. i have a few last questions before i pull the trigger on this thing and i would appreciate any final tweaks on this build. i got the ram and a couple 2tb drives from my old computer that went poop.

my question(s) i got now are...
-how many fans will this mobo support? (i got a push and pull water cooling design in mind. 5 fans on top (4 attached to the radiator one next to it all 120mm) one on the back 140mm and another on the bottom near the power supply 120mm. there are also two strapped to the front 140mm.overkill? maybe... but purdy!

-what do you think of it all as a whole, and do you got any suggestions.

i might add some more questions as i go but for now... this is about all. again thank you for your help so far.

$141 on a mouse? Never saw that on a build.

You should get a fan controller, it will make your life a lot easier with that many fans.

Aerocool is pretty meh, You can get Phanteks PH-F140HP or Be Quiet Pure Wings 2, they look and perform better.

Even for that price rats are not...fantastic...A logitech g502 is probably better for a little less. Also you should get this psu http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-V750-Modular-CrossFire/dp/B00ISCG6MI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404628362&sr=8-1&keywords=cooler+master+750 It is the same thing, except semi modular and 750W, (its $65 less) And even if you want to sli later 750 is enough. Your build as is would only draw about 440W with a screaming gpu stress test. But nice build.

A fan controller is used to select voltages (or % on PWM) of several fans, they can be either internal or 5.25". There are lots of them, other option would be to control a PWM powered splitter with the motherboard, but it will only work on this types of fans.

The Aerocool fans are not that good, there are plenty of options on those prices. Be Quiet, Scythe, Phanteks, Silverstone, Gelid, Arctic, Noctua, they all make nice fans.

ive checked out controller's before but i am not aware of which one is worth a darn...or the money. i am more scared that all these fans will not be able to plug into the motherboard. does a controller alow you to plug in multi fans into one type of power slot? question might seem redundant but i am needing someone to explain it a bit in detail or know where to read up on it. help?

im in love with the rat... logitech g502 was a close second but i still like the rat more and the 10 or so $ difference isnt enough to sway me much towards the logi.i will need to research the difference between semi vs fully modular. i am not sure the difference.. i was just told that i wanted modular :)

That motherboard has 4 system fan headers. A fan controller has more ports for fans, and allows you to control them somehow. Something like a Bitfenix Recon lets you control 5 fan channels and features a software interface that can help you set the fans easily. There are also powered splitters, that require a motherboard header and a molex (or sata power) connection with the GPU to have the extra power to run more fans. There are many fan controllers out there that are poo, so try looking up for reviews and asking people about the product before buying.

The difference is that a fully modular has no cable attached to the psu, it comes with them but you just attach the ones you are going to use, basically just reduces clutter. Semi has some of the cables unattachable (typically just the ones everyone will always use.) And non modular is just all the cables cannot be detached. adding another gtx 780 ti pushes the needs to over 700. i am very paranoid about cutting it so close. originally i had it at 750... i believe the 850 leaves a bit of room for future growth.

I guess playing it safe is fine, if the extra money is no issue I would do that myself. Since it is a high quality psu it will certainly be fine pushing up to and even past 750W. (not that it would) just a suggestion for saving monies.

Processor being stressed on it's own was 175W draw and with the 780ti gaming was 350-400W draw which means the difference was roughly 225W add that to 400 and you still got lots of headroom. Im not sure how you got 700W there?

these are the fans i went with... guess i will have to pass on the purdy thing... what do you both think of the controller... somewhat useless clock but it will fill those two ugly front 3.5 and leave the top open for cdr...not that i uuse cdr but you never now. do either of you have an idea about the thermal paste that comes with the water cooler? will that pre spread patch work well enough? ive seen alot of people say scrape it off and reapply. also, with the water cooler i am going with a push and pull setup. ide assume all the hardware i need comes with the fans correct? i dont need like special  (LONG SCREWS) hardware? lol, sorry... i am trying to get all the questions out before i pull the trigger. thanks for your help so far.

It's really okay the 850 is the better choice, I was just pointing out an option. Your build is insanely powerful.

Processor being stressed on it's own was 175W draw and with the 780ti gaming was 350-400W draw which means the difference was roughly 225W add that to 400 and you still got lots of headroom. Im not sure how you got 700W there?

yeah that is a beast lol, i am not going with SLI for a bit... i dont think i will need it for a bit. my wife would kill me if i spent any more money lol. but the single gtx 780 ti... think that is powerful enough to be able to maintain ultra graphics for a few years?

Saw lots of people having trouble with the NZXT Sentry, I suggest the Bitfenix Recon, it has 5x 10W channels, you can easily hook up 10 fans with a couple of regular splitters.
