I was watching The WAN Show the other day and thought the idea of running Tails (live) from an SD card was pretty cool. I've been considering triple-booting for a while, so I went to work.

The goal was to keep my bootcamp partition intact, and just be able to choose to boot onto Tales from the SD card by holding down option on startup. I downloaded rEFInd and Tails.

To make sure the internal HDD was clean, I partitioned the SD card to allow just enough room for rEFInd to run on an OSX Journaled partition - and just over 8GB in a FAT32 partition to run Tails on. I've had great success booting from the Tails Boot DVD I burnt, and went through to 'clan and upgrade' onto the correct partition.

Everything looked pretty good - I'm able to insert the SD card, hold down option, select SD card from bootable drives to launch rEFInd, and view all 3 OS that are available. (OSX, Win7 and Tales).

The problems start here.

When I select OSX - it'll boot to OSX

When I select Win7 - it'll boot to Win7

When I select Tails - it'll boot to...

...Win7  :(

I am able to insert the Tails boot DVD and run from that, as well as following the previous options (only with the boot DVD inserted) - and it runs fine. (But only runs from the DVD).

I know it HAS to be something to do with boot files getting mixed up - as I've heard a lot about that issue. I'm currently investigating LILO and other boot managers, but I have little to no experience in Linux.

If anyone could help, it would be so amaze.

Thanks,
