hey guys i wanna ask you all something

can i overclock i5 2320 3.0 Ghz

My Mobo :ASUS P8H61-M LX

If can be overclocked may i know how to ??

If the BIOS lets you access the baseclock then yes you can but only by 100-200MHz otherwise you probably won't be able to. The most I was able to overclock mine (without a stability test) was 250MHz which game me a clock of 3.54GHz

 

Another thing, Sandy Bridge doesn't like the baseclock to be touched and also bare in mind that it will overclock your RAM and that will increase the RAM voltage. Mine went from 1.5v to 1.65v
