By "Studio" I mean mics like the Blue Snowball or the AudioTechnica AT 2020 USB. I'm looking for a mic so I can help with my Buddy's channel Laid Back Gamers and I want to improve my video/audio quality as best I can whilest helping them where I can

Another suggestion that is a big step up from what you have on that channel now and costs less than the AT2020USB is the Samson C01U.

 

I do recommend the AT2020USB if you can afford it, it's a great mic.

 

This is a guy who uses the Samson C01U.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm from Canada and the price isn't the same as the US amazon (As I might as well buy an AT2020 USB). Do you have other suggestions?

If you can afford the AT2020USB grab that, and if the AT2020USB PLUS is just a few bucks more grab that.

 

It's really the best value for cash USB microphone IMO, good quality and affordable.

Seeing As your realy informed on the AT2020 would you tell me the difference between the regular and Plus versions?

The plus has zero latency headphone monitoring, there is a 3.5mm jack on it with volume control for listening to what is being recorded with no delay.

There is no difference in recording quality between the mics, the plus is just the latest model with a few extra features.
