So one of my Corsair H110 fans stop Woking randomly. I had unplugged both fans from my controller and then plugged them back. I was going to move the fans but then realised I needed screws I didn't have for that job. Once I turned my PC back on only one fan turned on. I have removed fans from the controller to make sure there isn't a power shortage on the controller. I also have it plugged into a mobo PWN fan connector and it still don't work.

The only thing I can think of is that wrecked pulled a wire loose inside the plastic connector on the fan cable. So if that is the case how do I go about fixing it? Maybe link a good fan cable repair guide.

You can buy 3 or 4 pin connectors and pins for them on ebay, just cut the wires, strip the wires, crimp the wire to the pin, insert the pin into the connector and you're done. Like $5 for a bunch of connectors and ends, then if it still doesn't work it is the fan motor.

It is a pretty easy thing to replace, I did that to a couple of my fans. This listing has everything you will need it seems, unless they are pwm fans, then you'll need 4 pin connectors but that's just an easy search. I paid close to $5 for 10 male and 10 female connectors, then 50 pins. An advantage to replacing them is you can paint them to make them look better. :)

You'll still need the pins. More is always better, just incase you mess up. I messed up my first one just learning how the pins work, but it isn't hard at all. Plus you'd have more incase it happens in the future. But it is up to you what you buy. :D
