If you have the money to crossfire 7770's I recommend you just get a 7850. If you need CUDA cores for rendering, go with the gtx 660, otherwise, go for the 7850.

Sell the 7770 and get a 7870. With the Level up bundle you get 3 AAA titles(Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, Bioshock:Infinite)+ Far Cry 3 Blood dragon for a total price of around 120 $ worth of games. The 7870 outperforms the 660 in almost every case scenario(In gaming). The only real advantage of the Nvidia cards is the Virtual Vsync.(It disables vsync when it goes below the locked framerate and it enables vsync when you go above the locked framerate so you don;t get screen taring) But it is not a major feature at this price point.

If you are buying 7870 make sure you buy 7870 XT or dont buy it at all. because with 7870 XT you get some serious overclocking headroom because the chip is from 7950. If you dont have money for it, get 7850 with 2 gig or ram and good cooling solution. Overclock it ofcourse. If you dont wanna overclock, or you need CUDA then get 660ti / 660 or 650ti boost if you dont have enough money. Allways get 2gig or more ram solution, and its also advisable to get DirectCU or DirecCU2 ( direct copper on the chip with fan/2 fans) or twinfrozr or any copper on chip cooling for good cooling. I suggest asus or XFX brand, but that is completely my opinion.
