Hello, today, I have an 8350+990fxa ud3 motherboard in my hands, as well as a 4690k+z97a.

It cost me $340 for the 4690k bundle.

I can either return it and go back to using my 8350, or keep it, which one?

If you're happy with the performance of your 8350 then keep it, if you feel you need better performance go with the i5

it depends if you think the money is worth the boosted performance. I would go with the 4690k but its not my money.

Try ebay perhaps? I normally sell my stuff to friends. Some one will want it.

Btw broadwell is the 5xxx series right? I'm confused on all this intel stuff, so basically if I keeep my z97 I'll be able to upgrade my 4690k to a 5xxx series processor? Of course its not going to be the 5930k though right? it will be their lga 1150 rendition?

Aight, this is temping me now, technically, from family, I can get this upgrade almost entirely free, so, it won't push me back from getting an 880.. I think I'll do this
