I wouldn't bother with an APU mate, either get an FX or the Athlon II

one word minecraft? with r9 280 8gb corsair dominator platinum 1600mhz thanks to ott? I will be recording in 1080p btw aswell with fraps

Don't even need the R9 280 for minecraft man.  This thing'll run Battlefield 4 on medium-high settings at 30fps.  Built a PC for my friend with one of these bad boys.  But if you do want to go with the R9 280, don't get an APU, it'll bottleneck the shit out of the rig.

what cpu do u recommend with It then

FX 8350 or I5 4690k.

If all you're doing is Minecraft, the A10 7850k can play that on its own, as can the I5 4690k.

Minecraft if heavily CPU dependant. An i3 with a lower end card can do that in minecraft.

The AMD APUs really don't make sense right now, they cost too much for the A10.

Save some money on the RAM. Use a R9 270.

Get an i5 (will help if you encode your recordings) and also throw in an SSD.

i5 4690k

Direct CUII R9 280x

8gb corsair dominator 1600mhz ram

coolermaster 212 evo

If all he is doing is playing Minecraft and recording, the 280x is severe overkill. GTX 750TI is plenty to record with and Minecraft can run on integrated graphics perfectly well. Also, no point in paying a premium for corsair dominator platinum RAM. Go with G.Skill Trident X for much cheaper AND better performance.
