Hey guys!

I have a problem with the XMP profile on my Crucial Ballisitx Tactical Tracer 1866 CL9 RAM sticks. Whenever I enable the XMP profile, it won't boot. It keeps saying that i'll have to load the optimized defaults. Is there a problem with the sticks or is it my motherboard causing the problem?

I haven't overclocked anything yet.

Thanks!

pull out one of the sticks to read the timings on the sticker on your RAM

then install them back and go into BIOS to manually set all the CAS timings

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Sometimes XMP profiles screw up and don't work.

Just put in all the RAM-Timing manually and see if it works.

I'll try those

Sorry for the double post -_-

I have tried those but it still wouldn't boot up. It still, in the end, gave me the option to load the optimized defaults then boot.

Maybe just your mobo issue
