I've been wondering if my PSU I picked out at PCPartPicker would be able to use the parts I selected.

Main parts selected:

AMD FX 8350 (Possible minor overclocking)

ASUS R9 290 Direct CU II

Asrock 990fx Fatal1ty Killer

1 TB HDD

7 Corsair 120 Performance edition fans

The PSU I have selected so far is here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139051&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Would I be able to run these parts with a 24" 144hz monitor?

It's overkill. The cx600 is already more than enough.
