Not exactly a Darth Vader-like made from scratch case, but remembers me of his helmet (and I'm sort of a Star Wars Nerd, so i had to do it)

This is an AMD all Black & Red Build, with some costumizations and ajustments on it

Specs:

Processor....................................................................................................AMD Phenom II X6 1090t

Motheboard ................................................................................................Asus Republic Of Gamers Crosshair IV Formula

Graphics Card.............................................................................................XFX Radeon HD7970 Black Edition (Double Dissipation)

Memory........................................................................................................8GB Corsair Vengeance (2x4)

Power Supply..............................................................................................XFX PRO 850W XXX Edition (Semi Modular)

Case...................................................................................................................Black NZXT Phantom (The Older One)

Cooling & Fans

Corsair  H100i for the processor using:

4xCorsair SP 120mm

1x Corsair AF 120mm

Case uses:

1x Corsair AF 120mm
2x Cooler Master 120mm
1x NZXT Stock 120mm
1x Aerocool Shark 140mm
1x NZXT Stock 200mm

[i acctually was about to buy the white one, since it looked like a Stormtrooper, but a friend of mine already had one, and took a look at the black one, and when it was blue didn't make much sense, but since i had some AMD parts in it i had the idea "Let's make it a Darth Vader then!"]

So here i am  :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Things I want to change in the case, mods and some maybe-i'll-do-it
Put a window in the side panel.
Change the LEDs on the case from stock blue, to red.
Make the inside of the case look sexy and tight as every computer should be.
Find somewhere to put the H100i on the case, since i doesn't fit on the top too right in push-pull.
Somehow find a way to make the maximum possible cable management in the back.
(If you have any suggestions of what to do, i'm all open to good ideas and suggestions)
Here's the case, almost completely apart, i already had put a non-conductive double sided tape to place the controller for the ancient NZXT Sleeved Led Kit, i like it because it's a 2M long one and i doesn't have too much light, so the build looks cool
Here are the clips to hold it in place, and still these are the areas i have to clean, and, MAN That's dirty!
And i used one of the Cable Managment holes for passing the cable right up to the motherboard itself
Today i worked on changing the LEDs on the fan controller (just for matching). The originals one were blue, so i bought some new LEDs for the power and fan controller, and i used a solder iron, and changed it, if anyone wants to do it, here's somehow the way to do it :)
(I forgot to take pictures of the "before" So i had to search for them)
This is how this case used to look with the blue LEDs on it
And Here's the process of changing the LEDs (I guess it works closely in other cases someone wants to change and make some mods)
You'll Need :
7x Small head LEDs (Only these one's fit in the case)
Soldering Iron
Tin
Cutting Pliers
Some Icy cold tea
You'll need to know which one is the positive, and wich one is the negative pins (you can use a MB battery to try it, they are 3V, if you plug in the wrong side, they won't be damaged, but won't work either)
Usually the longer side in the LED is the negative one
On the Fan Controller and HDD/Power Leds you have to check on the board, the way i did it was to get the leds out and test wich side was positive and negative in the LED, and then marked on a paper wich side was wich. On the fan controller it is like this
You'll need to carefully remove the blue LED, they have a little plastic thing to keep them on the right direction, watch out not to break it.
After you removed, you'll need to get the LEDs through the holes, sometimes the soldering won't let them pass right away, all you need to do is heat them again and make the new LED pass, it won't be too hard if you be patient :)
After that i Bent them, solder them to the board again, and then cut the legs on the LED so they won't touch anything they shouldn't
Here's how it looked like after i finished the work :)
If you want to test the LEDs you can jump the wires in a PSU to power the fan controller and see if the LEDs are working fine.
You can either connect a fan to one of the pins and se it it is working, like this:
Or, you can use a screwdriver (or even a finger) to touch some of the spots on the PCB, which, if you touch them the LEDs power on (don't ask why, nor how, I accidently touched a screewdriver in one of them and the LED turned on)
