hey guys, just looking for abit of help!

so you know when you download those programs late and night, not really thinking and BOOM you instill like 1000203045082384023890 browser tool bars and hijackers and you dont really realize until a few weeks later.

yea.. that just happened to me. dammit brain.

at the moment, im fighting against the qse.exe thing, not quite sure what it is, but it randomly closes my browser and tries to hijack it and change it to its own search bar.. as well as deletes the friggin short cut in the task bar! god dammit!

i was wondering if any of you guys have come in contact with this and successfully removed it....

ive tried several different anti virus scanners and none seem to be working very well. itll work to start with and a few hours later itll happen again.

heres what ive used so far to try and fix things

windows defender

malwarebytes

norton scanner of some kind???

YAC (Yet another cleaner)

ccleaner

anything else you guys recommend is gotta help, i hate moments like these :S

If your PC is full a crap, a format can save you a lot of trouble. Fresh start, and it's not very long to do. You just have to make sure that you backup your important files if they are on the same partition as the OS.

Note that this is a "drastic" measure, there are probably easier ways to do this but personally I find a format from time to time to be a great thing, it's awesome to get your responsiveness back and a "fresh" start ^^
