Hey guys I am going to get the new pentium :) How would I go about OC it??? I have no idea how cpu OC works I have only done GPU OC

Linus has made several quality videos on overclocking. Check the one on haswell out.

to OC the pentium you need a Z97

 

it quite easy

 

under BIOS you just need to increase the multiplier

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

It depends on the motherboard, all UEFIs are different. Which one are you planning on getting?

 

Also you may have to tweak the CPU voltage if you are going to do a high overclock.
