registry key MINE

Does anybody know what the registry key MINE refers to.  It is in H_KEY Current USER software .  I am concerned that it is a virus or something.

Well, all I can say is that I don't have that in my registry.

CPU: Intel i7 3970X @ 4.7 GHz  (custom loop)   RAM: Kingston 1866 MHz 32GB DDR3   GPU(s): 2x Gigabyte R9 290OC (custom loop)   Motherboard: Asus P9X79   

Case: Fractal Design R3    Cooling loop:  360 mm + 480 mm + 1080 mm,  tripple 5D Vario pump   Storage: 500 GB + 240 GB + 120 GB SSD,  Seagate 4 TB HDD

PSU: Corsair AX860i   Display(s): Asus PB278Q,  Asus VE247H   Input: QPad 5K,  Logitech G710+    Sound: uDAC3 + Philips Fidelio x2

Run CCLeaner and see if it remains.
Make sure you make a backup (CCleaner offers to do so)

The thing is that I just did a clean install of Windows 8 and checked the registry right after I had done all the updates and core program installs.  MS Office, Norton Internet Security, Malwarebytes premium, Malwarebytes Anti Exploit, Creative Sound Blaster drivers, HP Drivers, Mozilla Firefox, APC Powerchute, and thats it.

Okay, well then first off..

Get rid of norton, it is shit and slows your computer down.

No matter how much you say it doesnt slow your computer down, it does. And it doesn't work very well either.

MB is fine, never used it as a real time AV though.

Never heard of powerchute, so the registry key might have come from that.

My suggestion is before you go an customize everything, reinstall again, and the first thing you do when you get to the desktop should be checking to see if that key is there,

If you are looking for a good Live AV, use MSE (or microsoft defender or whatever the fuck they call it in windows 8).
