PSU strong enough?

Go to solution Solved by Prokart2000,

in theory yes but that brand is VERY bad and is known for bad psus

Hey everyone! I am relatively new to building computers and this was my first gaming rig I ever built. After reading up on PSU's, I've heard that as long as your computer boots up and runs games, it should be strong enough. Is that true? I've also heard that it may run, but your gpu or cpu won't run at 100 percent. I want to know if my psu is strong enough for my build. It runs and plays most games at consistent 60+ fps, however there are random drops.

Build:

Case: HAF 912

CPU cooler: Hyper 212 evo w/ 1 120 mm fan

2 LED intake 120 mm fans in front, 2 exhaust 120 mm fans in back

GPU: MSI 760 4gb gaming edition

CPU: Intel i5 4670k 3.4 ghz overclocked to 4.0 ghz

1 DVD Multi recorder, 1 SSD, 1 7200 HDD

2 x 4 gb DDR3 RAM

My PSU is 535 Bronze Plus: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152049

Thanks!
